Skillet Chili


2 lbs lean ground beef
1 lb Italian Sausage
1 onion, finely diced
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 cans (15 oz each) tomato sauce
12 oz. tomato paste
2 cans (16 oz each) Joan Of Arc Spicy Chili Beans
2 tsp. Louisiana Hot Sauce
1 tsp. seasoning salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
2 Tb. Chili 9000 (from Penzey’s Spices)
1 1/2 cups water

1. Brown and crumble ground beef and sausage; drain
2. Stir in all the other ingredients
3. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until desire consistency (at least one hour for best flavor–we usually cook it for two hours)
