PageStat looks at the Minnesota Boys H.S. Hockey sections

This is a project I started back in 1999; using PageStat to determine who the favorites are in each of the 16 sections in Minnesota, who has a decent chance and who has any chance in the section playoffs. A “favorite” is described as being within one point from the top of that section. “Decent Chance” is a team within two points, and “You Never Know” shows teams within three points.

This is how PageStat sees the sections at this point in the 2016-17 season:

7AA: Favorite: Elk River, Duluth East Decent Chance: Grand Rapids You Never Know: Cloquet, Duluth Marshall

8AA: Favorite: Moorhead Decent Chance: St. Michael-Albertville, Bemidji You Never Know: Brainerd, Roseau

1A: Favorite: Rochester Lourdes Decent Chance: Northfield You Never Know: Red Wing, Mankato West, Mankato East, Albert Lea
